so neat; better large; likely best in real life. by this guy.
today at work my boss fed me half a shot of Portuguese moonshine. Despite smelling like nail polish remover, I was all zen about it and it went down easy. The nice warm feeling was almost worth the ridiculous amount of rubbing alcohol burps I had over the next few hours. lesson learned: gulping moonshine makes it go down easier, but also means it'll talk back.
Yesterday was great, I helped A make a painting for her living room. We got a big long canvas, and I was giving all this advice on paints and techniques until it occurred to me that if it went wrong it would be ALL MY FAULT. But even after splitting a sixer of Corona and le ganj, I think it turned out pretty well.
Oh and we saw part of What Not To Wear, and everything the girl owned, A or I or both would have gladly worn. WNTW: making the world look like a GAP ad one (former) individual at a time.

there is still a mark from the steam burn.
Im painting a design in my mom's built in shrine area- its a hutch type thing, partially framed off with driftwood. I hope it doesn't turn out like crap, and I hope that my painting and art isn't/won't be forever limited to the "good enough for parents to hang on the wall" quality level.
She put a couple of my Fat Lady watercolours on her wall- their lameness embarrasses me.
Just need to keep working, keep improving
